Concourse claims strong Cannes sales for “Raider,” an action thriller starring Aaron Eckhart.

Concourse Media, based in Los Angeles, has announced strong pre-sales for its action movie Raider, which stars Danny Huston as the chief of the Secret Service and Aaron Eckhart as the US president.

Germany’s Constantin Film, Australia/New Zealand’s Rialto, Spain’s Second Gen Pictures, Italy’s Eagle Pictures, Scandinavia’s Mis Label, Eastern Europe’s MediaSquad, the CIS’s Paradise, Indonesia’s PT Prima, the Middle East’s Grant Entertainment, and Israel’s Shoval Film are among the countries where rights have been closed.

Negotiations are under progress regarding a sale to North America, and production is expected to start in Spain in the fall.

In Raider, a newly elected US president learns that an elite shadow group has been in charge of the White House for decades after winning a landslide election.

In an attempt to save the nation and his family, the president has to decipher a string of cryptic messages left by his predecessors, defying the chief of the Secret Service’s advise.

Head of Concourse Media Matt Shreder is producing with Steve Lee Jones’ Bee Holder Productions; this is Concourse Media’s second partnership with Eckhart after Chief Of Station, which was distributed globally earlier this month.

Shreder expressed his excitement at working with Bee Holder again, saying, “She has cultivated a string of extremely well-crafted films that are globally commercial.” “Seeing Aaron return to the Oval Office will be epic, as he has quickly established himself as an action star in this arena.”
